Exactly What You Need
All orders are made to each customer's bespoke requirements and are therefore individually priced. The price of a bespoke cakes depends on the imaginative design and the amount of detailed work required, as well as the size of the cake.
Birthdays...
All of Sarah's Handcrafted Cakes are custom made to your requirements. Customers can sometimes be unsure of what theme or special feature to include on their cake. By listing hobbies, interests, favourite bands or pastimes I can create a unique cake for your special person.
Other Occasions...
I also create other bespoke and personality designed cakes for baby showers, christenings, engagements, and wedding anniversaries, in fact any special day that requires cake!

Celebration cakes start from £75 for a 6" simply decorated cake dependent on detail involved.
At least six weeks’ notice is required for a fruit cake, three weeks for any other type of cake. However, my order book often gets filled up many weeks in advance so please contact me early with your design ideas for an exact quote and to avoid disappointment.

All wedding cakes are completely bespoke made, therefore a precise costing is difficult to publish.
All prices include each tier iced in either white or ivory icing, finished with ribbon in a colour to compliment your theme and mounted on an iced trimmed board
The cost of a professionally made wedding cake is largely made up of the time taken to prepare, bake, cover and create all the handcrafted sugar details.

Base Cake
* Single Tier from £175 (Average investment £200+)
* Two Tiers from £275 (Average investment £320-£400)
* Three tiers from £350 (Average investment £450-£550)
* Four tiers from £480 (Average investment £550-£750)
The average spend indicates what a moderatley decorated would typically cost.
Wedding Favours
Edible sugar cookie favours are the perfect gift for your wedding guests. Why not use sugar cookies as a place setting? Bespoke cookies that compliment your wedding cake and your overall wedding theme. Individual cookies start from £2.50 each*

Sample taster box
My taster boxes are a perfect way to sample some of my delicious cake flavours before you book me to create your wedding cake or celebration cake.
Boxes contain a mix of 6 flavours along with a sugar cookie, photos are for illustration purposes only.
If you go ahead and book as a result of tasting my cakes, then the cost of the box is fully redeemable against the cost of your wedding cake.

All cakes contain wheat, dairy and eggs. Some also contain nuts. Please contact me prior to ordering if you have any food allergies or intolerances.

STAGES OF WEDDING CAKE ORDERS
Secure the date
First message me with your chosen date and I will check that it’s available for you. You can then secure that all important date into the diary with £100 non-refundable booking fee – please note it is not classed as ‘booked' until this has been received.
Ideas
Collect images of things you would like to see on your cake – create a mood board of your ideas
Design
2-6 months before the big day send me your mood board collection and I will design something befitting your special day. Whilst I prefer not to copy other cake artists’ designs, I recognise that sometimes you have your heart set on a particular design that you may have seen online or in a magazine.
Don’t know what you want? All I need is a ‘theme’ and I will put together a design for you. Remember it’s your cake so make it suit YOU
Delivery
Delivery charges are £0.50 per mile calculated on a return journey from my postcode.
